Our company was founded in 2003 in Calgary, Alberta. After completing the development of our first application in 2006, we have adopted the "Fields of Code" name and a new logo. Both chosen to reflect our dual connection to the medical and the IT fields, and a play on the DNA term, for the individuals in our groups, each a unique "code" in their field. And finally, for the term "coder", which is slang for "software developer".
Fields of Code was incorporated in 2009.
